SAEM, a company based in Altamura, Bari, southern Italy, has always been attentive to issues concerning renewable energy; it operates with professionalism and competence in the field of photovoltaic and alternative energies. Founded in 1998 by Francesco Maggi, it represents the third generation of entrepreneurs who have been engaged in the electrical equipment sector since 1930. The operational headquarters that cover about 10,000 square meters, the modern structure used as a showroom (with over 500 square meters of exposition and 2 multimedia conference halls) and the work of research and design of a team of 10 engineers supported by 80 highly skilled installers, has rapidly made SAEM the reference point of photovoltaic system for the whole of southern Italy. The nominal power of plants, designed and already installed by SAEM throughout the national territory, today exceeds several MW; several 1 MW photovoltaic parks, equipped with surveillance and monitoring apparatus and related service facilities are now under planning and implementation.
